NSW Big Ride 2007 Event Ticket - Conditions of Entry

NSW Big Ride 07 Event Ticket: Bicycle New South Wales may refuse entry to NSW Big Ride 07 and change the route or any other aspect of the event without notice. I/ we acknowledge that participation in the event involves riding on roads with other traffic and I/we am/are aware of the risks involved. I/we have enough ability and experience to participate safely in this event. I/ we will ensure that the bike/s to be used in the event are in sound mechanical condition and I/we will wear (and ensure my child wears) a correctly fitted Standards Australia approved cycling helmet, and display my Bicycle NSW entry ride number in a manner dictated by Bicycle NSW. I/we will comply with the current NSW road rules and directions given by police, route marshals and event staff, and will ride in a careful and considerate manner at all times. Participants under the age of 18 years as at 17 March 2007 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or over).  Please attach child entry forms to that of the accompanying adult.  Children under 12 years are not permitted to pilot their own bicycle without the explicit written approval of Bicycle New South Wales.  Conduct which in the opinion of Bicycle New South Wales, the event organisers, may result in a threat to riders’ safety, criminal activity, bad language or other unsocial behaviour may result in exclusion from the NSW Big Ride without refund. I/we release and indemnify the organisers, sponsors and others involved in the event (including Bicycle New South Wales and RTA) from and against any claims, liability, costs and expenses made, suffered or taken by any person or body as a result of my/our participation in the event. I/we acknowledge that video footage, photographs and other images of cyclists including me and/or my family may be created and used by Bicycle New South Wales and affiliated organisations for promotional and publicity activities. I/we consent to the creation and use of such images for these purposes.

All cancellation of entries must be received in writing at Bicycle New South Wales, GPO Box 272, Sydney, NSW 2001 by 5pm on Friday 16 February 2007 for an 80% refund of entry monies paid. No cancellations will be accepted after this date and tickets are not transferable. Payment of entry is considered acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
